I'm doing good just a bunch of mixed emotions thats all. Happy, excited, nervous, a little scared I guess but other than that I am good. I think tomorrow will get a little worse but if they put me under kinda fast I won't have these emotions anymore LOL.

Awww Dusty all that is normal honey. If its anything like when I went in you will have "Relaxing tequila" as I was told it was called to make you comfy and not anxious before you are even wheeled into the O.R. It worked. When I got into the OR I felt like I was floating. LOL YOU WILL BE FINE! We are all here if you need ANYTHING! My first day home was the WORSE but everything will work out. The support on this board is AMAZING!!! GOOD LUCK!!!! (((Hugs)))

Hey sweetie, when you get into triage and start being prepped tell them you are very anxious and they'll give you something to relax you before you go under.  Good luck this week!  I'm postponed for another week.

Dusty,

I think you know where I'm coming from when I say this because it took me almost a year and a half from start to getting the surgery.  By the time my wait was close to being over, I was so sick of waiting LOL  But you know what?  you'll get up in the morning, take your shower, get in the car and arrive tot he hospital.  Once they call your name, they will have you turned out of the operating room so fast, it'll be all done before you realize it LOL.  I was one of the lucky ones where I didn't have much pain afterwards to the point where I thought they didn't actually do anything LOL

It's normal to be excited/nervous/scared all at the same time.  It's a HUGE deal and it's going to be a big change for your body.  However, you have an awesome support system right here and we'll be all waiting for you here on the loser's bench!  You're gonna be alright buddy :)

Dusty:
Just wanted to chime in with my 2 cents worth.  Best wishes for a quick surgery and an uneventful recovery!!! You're going to do great.  You deserve it.
