SATURDAY'S SHOPPING TRIP IN QUEENSTOWN

Hey gang!!

Unfortunately, I'm going to have to bow out of Saturday's OH gathering at Prime Outlets in Queenstown.  I'm just not up to it.  As I said in a previous post, I didn't get great news at the dentist, I'll be seeing a root canal guy AND an oral surgeon on Thursday and frankly, I'm in constant pain, although, thankfully, it's dimmed somewhat.  Pain killers aren't really helping, and I'm just feeling BLAH!!!  The pain allows me to sleep for about 2 hours at a time, with pain in between.

By all means, though, please, meet up anyway, shop for me, sample the salsas in Harry & David's and enjoy each other's company.

Once I get these dental issues straightened out, we WILL have a get-together on the shore.

I am so sorry to miss this and my shore girls!!!!  WAAAHHH!!!

Hope you are feeling better really soon.  Did the dr. give you some medicine for the pain?  If he did, use it, don't be brave.  I had a root canal this past year myself and I know what tooth pain is.  There's nothing like it.  Catch you next time.  Our next Eastern Shore Support Group is going to be at my house.  Thursday 1/8/09, maybe you can make it?  But it is a drive.

Oh, yeah, Tylenol w/codeine, which isn't even TOUCHING the pain.  I think we're going to have to try Percocet next.  I really miss my Motrin, Advil, Aleve, etc., but RNY folks CANNOT take NSAIDS.  And don't let anyone tell you any differentlty.  Not even the children's formula, which is STILL too strong for our pouches!

Actually, I've had several root canals and the only pain associated with them is the initial numbing agent given.  After that, no pain, just pressure.  Although the last one was horrific, because it was infected, and he had to lance the abcess!!!  ICK!!! 

I'm so sorry to miss you this time.  But yes, we will get together once I'm back on track!!

I don't care about the drive, just not sure at which stage of Dental-Hell I'll be in at that time!

Awwwww tooth pain is the WORSE, I know!!! Did you gargle with hydrogen peroxide and water? THAT WORKS! Im telling you it really does work! Hope you feel better. I will be tied up

Ouchie-wa-wa!  Hope the doc helps you out Thursday.  Floyd's got something wrong with one of his teeth now.  Luckily he CAN do the Ibuprofen and he's using oragel for now.  Just been a day or two, but the dental insurance doesn't kick in until February 1st!!!!
