Support Groups

Hello OH Family,

Are there any Support Groups in the Baltimore area soon.

I don't know of any except of the one at Dr David Von Rueden's and the other Dr. Aberbach in St. Agnes hospital in Baltimore.
Hopefully someone will chime in for you soon.

Not sure how far away Crofton is from you, but there is one in Crofton twice a month. Kelly Wheeler runs them (she is on my friends list on my profile) She is a certified OH leader for the support group and it really is a great group of people!

Actually niecey, Dr. K is having a support group meeting/holiday party on December 10th from 7 - 8:30 PM at University of Maryland Medical Center.......when you walk into the hospital, go to your left to the south rotunda.  The Room number is S1DO3....first floor, D Wing Patient Resources Room.

Looks like they will be talking about plastic surgery this month.  And you know what, I never knew this.....As a Dr. K patient, we are required to attend four support group meetings a year.  Wow!  I wonder why he never yelled at me for not coming?  Well Baltimore is a pretty far drive for me and he knew I was going to other support group meetings so I guess that's alright. 

Anyway, there's that one you could and probably SHOULD go to since you are having him for your surgery.  Maybe Mary Beth can give you a 2009 Schedule of meetings.
