I just spoke with the Severn Inn. The prices, including tax and tip, are:

Adults - $35.22
Children - 5-12 - $20.16
Under 5 - Gratis

The adult price DOES include ALL you can drink Bloody Mary's, Mimosas, Champagne, coffee, tea, soda and iced tea.

You cannot order from the restaurant menu - the only thing they offer on Sunday is the brunch.

Menu:

Omelet station
Crab bisque
Creamed chip beef
Bacon and sausage
Home fries
French toast lasagna
Crab and spinach quiche
Fish
Pasta
Meat dish - roast pork, beef kabobs or chicken
Carving station - roast top round of beef and leg of lamb
Waffles and beignets
Shrimp, chicken and tuna salads
Mixed green and Caesar salads
Gravlax of salmon w/red onion, chopped egg and cream cheese
Fresh fruit
Sweet breads, muffins, bagels, coffee cake and croissants
Assorted desserts

Again, Sunday, December 7, 10 a.m., Severn Inn in Annapolis. RSVP to me by noon on Friday, December 5.

Oh Crap! I cannot afford to attend now. Please cross me off the list. I think they really stink for not letting people order other smaller breakfast items besides the buffett. Thanks for letting me know now.
If everyone else cancels due to cost and you choose another more reasonable restaurant with more choices, please PM me and I will then attend. Sorry but this girl is poor, especially after that huge vet bill from right before my cat died. That was an unexpected expen$e!

I'm sorry, Jen. I DO understand about finances. However, I DID give the board a chance to offer suggestions, etc., and this seemed to be a common choice. Once I got the details, I again posted about the cost, etc., and everyone *****sponded was okay with it. Turst me, it's hard to please a big group of people.

It's not that they won't let us order from the menu - they don't OFFER another menu on Sunday, it's strictly brunch.

A friend of our family owns a restaurant and along with everyone else, they're REALLY taking a beating in the economy. People aren't eating out as much as they used to - I know my parents and I used to eat out weekly, and now, I think it's been six months since we went out.

It's tough, I know, and like I said, I'll miss you. Even though I can't eat or drink $35 worth of food, I'm hoping everyone will have a good time!!!

I'm sorry. I must have read something wrong, because I thought I'd be spending 20-25 dollars if I got buffet, and then I had planned to get somethign smaller, not knowing they didn't make their other items available on Sundays. Sigh. sadly, the extra 10 makes it a problem. I hate bills.
