Pre Op Surgeon's visit

Ok the only thing to do til surgery is my Pre Op workup and thats with my PCP tomorrow. My surgeon discussed everything in the game plan for December 11th. I in turn asked him 100 questions LOL. All in all he told me that if I feel up to it that I could go home in the evening after surgery as long as I am walking and sipping water. I think I'll be more comfortable at home anyway. My Pre Op diet is going well a few cravings every now and then but not bad they pass. If you like protein shakes look on the web for www.smartforme.com great stuff I really like it, and they are 16 oz. shakes to haven't tried the soup or bars yet but will tonight

Dusty I have read your posts and you have gone throught alot to get this surery so I wish you the best. You will be on the Losers bench pretty soon. Great job on your liquid diet. I didnt ave to do it but I know it must be hard so many kudos to youa nd everyone who as ad to do that

Good luck to you. I will keep you in my prayers and I know things will go well. Please when you feel up to it, let us know how you are doing. You will also be in my thoughts Dec. 11.Think positive thoughts and trust your surgeon. Always ask all the questions you need to. !!!!

YEAHHHHH!!! You and I are neck and neck I tell ya! LOL I had my blood work done last week and I had my pre op with my surgeon last night. Now I get an EGD tomorrow at the hospital and surgery NEXT THURSDAY! Im kinda FREAKING OUT! LOL Im so so happy for you that everything is falling in place. ((((((Hugs)))))))
