3 things for Tuesday
Today I am grateful for:
1. I missed the deer that ran across the beltway this morning : someone behind me wasn't so
lucky.
2. for the CD player in my car: I have a couple songs I listen too every morning.

3. That I survived another pilates class last night: got my butt kicked but
I felt good after class.
Glad you missed the deer. I feel bad that someone else hit it. I have never hit a deer but if it ever happens to me they will have to take me to the hospital in a stretcher because I would be a mess! Glad you got your butt kicked last night. I am seriously thinking of joining a gym next year and getting a personal trainer to kick my butt.
Today I am grateful:
1. for the love of my family they keep me grounded.
2. for you.....that you keep this thread going when Tia is not around. It reminds me everyday that no matter how hard life might get we ought to be thankful no matter what. There are many out there that are less fortunate than others.
3. my OH family!

1. My husband for being there when things get crazy. Even when he has a crazy day he tells me his work days are never as bad as mine can be.
2. That I did not have any broken bones after being assulted by a patient at work.
3. That I have my OCD list worked out for the holiday. If I fini**** I will feel fulfilled.

Please say a prayer for my uncle today. He has sufficiently recovered from his infection and pneumonia and they are proceding with his heart valve surgery today. I want so much for this to be a very happy Thanksgiving for my family in Oklahoma. After the scare of thinking we might lose him last week, we have reason to be optomistic again. He is not out of the woods, but I just can't accept that things will be anything other than successful!
1 - Faith - At times like this, I have to believe that there is a higher power that looks over us all. No matter what happens in our life, there has to be a purpose for the things that happen that is bigger than I can see.
2 - For my sister-in-law - I am going to be able to take the twins out on Friday for the first time on my own. I lost a lot of time with them because I was so physically limited in the past. And then there was a divorce between my brother and her, which can sometimes make these things awkward. I am so looking forward to this opportunity to develop a special relationship with these guys before they get too much older and don't want to hang around with their Aunt or any other adult for that matter!
3 - Pool class tonight. This will be the only day for the pool classes this week, since the other day is on Thursdays and of course the gym will be closed Thursday evening. So I look forward to making it count tonight.
4 - For the flexibility of my work life - I overslept this AM. My ability to start my work day from home before heading into the office, made it possible for me to get ready while interacting with my team. And I still got into the office at a reasonable time.

I'm so glad you missed that deer Darla! Hitting a dear is one of my great fears.
Debbie prayers and good thoughts to your uncle today. Sounds like he has a great healthcare team around him making sure he's in shape for surgery.
Today I am grateful for:
1. Family, and having a good-sized one at that. It was eight years ago today that my father passed and not a day goes by that I don't miss the crap out of him. He was very young (68) and I was so young (30) and we were finally changing over to great friends, not just father/daughter. I am thankful that I have 4 sibs and my mom around still, and that we all get along, and love, and laugh together, even if we live in different states.
2. My job(s). Although my DH is still out of work, I have stability and income. I pray the economy turns soon and our unemployment rate drops.
3. My doggies for keeping me warm last night and sending me off in the cold this morning as they watched from the comfort of the couch. LOL
1. short week!!!
2. don't feel anxious today. I actually feel good. I had a bad day yesterday when I overheard my boss say something negative about me. It really devastated me but it helped me get back on track and I'm doing better at work.
3. cuddling w/ hubby. i love doing that with him after a long day. i feel like we are growing closer. for a time, it was the opposite so I am grateful, more than grateful for that. i love him so much.

Today I'm grateful for:
1. My raise and promotion FINALLY coming through, albeit at a lower percentage than I expected.
2. Extracts. Being able to add them to my protein shakes is actually making them palatable again.
3. Being able to add regular foods...much more variety, which I seem to crave alot of!
