WOW...ummm...WOW!!  I saw one similar to this done on a woman on L.A. Ink recently.  I'm just thinking OUCH!!  You go girl!!

Speaking of L.A. Ink..if I could get Kat Von D to do it I'd be on a plane TOMORROW!  That's the other thing about this tattoo.  I've seen several samples of people's wings and I haven't seen one that I've completely loved and this will definitely have to be done freehand. I'm going to have to take the time to interview some artists.

I'm right there with you.  My husband told me to submit my story to the show to see if I'd get accepted but I just don't want to wait that long.  If you actually pay to have her do one it's generally over $1000 - no thanks!

Heather many kudos to you when you get this. I wanted angel wings on my back (small ones of course...lol) but then my hubby joked and said I would be lying to myself..........LOL what a smart a**................LOL

I'll save the angel wings for when I get a tattoo to represent  my future children

Wow Heather, that would be quite a commitment! I'll have to take pics of my tattoos and post them. My favorite one is the angel on my back/shoulder blade. That one I wanted for a really long time. The other 2 were kind of on a whim and they aren't as nice. It's a great idea for you to be absolutely sure before you get it done! That would be a ***** to have removed lol.

Yep, a back piece this size is a huge commitment, but it's what I want and I've never waivered on my choice.  I want mine to be about 3/4 this size.  I'm 5'11" so it's a LOT more compared to someone who might be 5'2" lol  And as for removal, it would be like skin grafting! NO THANKS! hehehe

I have two of them a Rose on my shoulder and a Butterfly on my calf, now that I have had my Lower Body Lift I am think about a lower back piece.  I just made sure that I got them in places where I can cover them up when I want to and show them when I want to.

I totally agree with putting them in private places where they can be shown when I want them to be shown.  BTW I have a friend that lives in Lusby - Barbara DeHenzel, do you know her?  I know Lusby's not that big!  (LOL).
