OT: In need of help

I applied for energy assistance through Community Action and they go by the "gross" income which they say is too much.  If they actually went by what my BF brings home then we would qualify.  Salvation Army said the same thing.  Funny how you donate to charities and when you are the one in need they say no.  Will make phone calls today to see what else is out there.  Thanks for the responses to everyone that replies. 

no sweetie i dont but i do know of a place called Liheap that helps all people with problems on heating bills and electrical , google liheap in your area for help
