the first official Frederick support Group!
it was great seeing you all there :) thank you kristin for organizing a quick get-together :) there were Kristin, Fatih, Kim, Christine (I hope I spelled that right) Cira and Tara and myself. had a great time at the starbucks and I had two sf/ff caramel lattes....OMG were they good. The first time I had been to a starbucks since the surgery! LOL I know we got pictures floating around out there of this evening and I can't wait until the next meeting :)
Thanks Aaron. Wow..what an inspiration you all were to me. Imagine sitting at a table with 5 other people and everyone of them has lost well over a 100#s. I cannot wait for my surgery and I am so appreciative of my new support group. Plus I have to get use to a new life style. If I was with a group of 6 people there would definitely be food involved. My new peers were only concerned about getting sugar free drinks...You guys rock!! Thank you for coming out and I am looking forward to seeing you guys again next month. Keep up the good work! I missed the meeting but I would love to come to the next one. I didn't see the posts because I hadn't been online that week. I had already been in the process of getting our group together as well, but ran into scheduling issues. I like the way you took the bull by the horns and just announced a date, time and place. I am glad Fridays once a month at 7pm work for everyone, because that's perfect for me as well. I have applied for an OH support group to be established. (I don't really think we need any person to "lead", since it's a collaborative group. But with my license, OH will not likely require me to do the OH support leader training before they post our group.). By having our group listed in the OH site, other WLS folks can find us via OH Groups Search. What about the 2nd or 3rd Friday each month?

We are going to meet again next month but we have not worked out the details. Keep an eye on the forum for further details. I know that Faith said we could use her church but we have not decided on a date and time yet. So please keep up with the forum and watch for updates..we would love to have you there!

I was trying to figure out the grand total of weight loss in that meeting last night. It is as follows, the best I an estimate

Total lost 705!!!!!
I hope the math is right. If I was wrong with the weights sorry. I was trying to recollect from last night.
