I love the holiday shows.  I remember as a kid sitting and watching all the Charlie Brown ones but I do have to say my favorite are Rudolph, The Year Without a Santa Clause, Frosty the Snowman....all those from christmas time.  I do remember when they used to show The Wizard of OZ around Thanksgiving every year but now they show it when ever....I want to get all those movies to add to our video collection so I can watch them over and over...just love them..

Stop it, Terri!!!  You're getting me all excited!!!  LOL!!!!

I remember The Wizard of Oz used to be on at Easter, now, like you said, it's on all the time - nothing special about it anymore.

You can actually buy the classic Christmas specials in packs, too!!

I forgot one of the most important ones of all...
How The Grinch Stole Christmas....
I do remember as a kid though, watching rudolph and being scared of the abomadable (spelling)... I alway**** my face when he came on the screen...lol...They are all my favorites...Hell with the weather we have today, we should be watching them....but you need the snow to go along with them and we don't have that...yet...my dad does up in cooperstown ny though...will have to tell him to make sure we get some during the right time of the year...

Um....order some flurries from upstate NY, wouldja?

I used to be afraid of Irontail, the evil bunny (voiced by Vincent Price) on "Here Comes Peter Cottontail!!"  He had a black bunny tail!!!!

Sure I will order snow, but ONLY for Christmas...flurries a little here and there before that don't stick are ok before then...I grew up in the hudson valley of NY and I don't miss the snow and cold at all.  Driving a school bus up there in the snow was enough for me...don't want it anymore..(other then christmas)
I like all of the holiday movies but still, the christmas ones are my favorite...maybe santa will bring me some for christmas..hehehe  guess I better get my list started...

OK - Now you have me going. More and more memories come up each time I check on the posts. It took me many years to finally not cry when Frosty melted. I can still hear Karen say "Oh Frosty" - sniff, sniff. Gets me right here  every time!

Good one Deb....That got me too...the other one that gets me is the one with rudolph and the baby new year.  The poor little thing with the big ears being picked on....that always got to me.
Damn it Tia....now you got us all started...I am impatient now wanting to see those movies!!!!!
