3 THINGS FOR MONDAY!!
Hi Honeys,
Just a quick post! I'm home and back to work (not sure that is a grateful ...lmao .. but it does pay the bills ) ..
The Texas trip was awesome. Even though it was work related I did fit in a little time for me and got to know some of my peers from here in Maryland a bit better during our 'social' time.
Brought home a really neat jacket from a store in historic downtown Grapevine. I love unusual things and while this is not indicative of Texas .. I will always remember that I bought it in Texas.
We only found one wine tasting room (there were many more but one was enough) .. but the wine was good and I brought home 3 bottles of wine .. one called .. Redheaded Stepchild (a sangria). .. When I saw the name I HAD to have it because that is an expression I use all the time .. being treated like a redheaded stepchild .. lol .. Brought back 2 bottles of the redhead and gave one to my boss .she thought it was pretty funny too.
The lady at the baggage counter who was so accomodating while I attempted to take 14 pounds of stuff out of my suitcase so I didn't have to pay an additional $50 overweight charge! If only they would have let me carry my wine on I would have been ALL set!!!
Hugs, Mo

Comparison is the thief of joy!
If we spend our time comparing our life/weight loss/body to others, we totally miss what WE have accomplished. Keep in mind how far you have come and what you can do now that you couldn't do weeks/months/years ago. I hate the expression " It's all good", but in this case it fits! Wherever you are in your journey ... It's ALL good!!!
Good morning Tia! Sounds like everyone had a good time at Cira's. I had an awesome weekend also, and wished that it didn't have to end. However, since I have a short work week and therefore a long weekend, we will be going back to my friend/unbiological sisters house. I can't wait!
Today I am grateful:
1. That my son and I had such a good time this weekend. It was very relaxing!
2. That my sons father and I have such a great friendship now, and that we are doing awesome at co-parenting! Hunter is very lucky to have his parents be able to get along so well. It took 3 years for us to get to this point, but we finally did and I couldn't be happier.
3. For Rigel (friend/unbiological sister), she is such a wonderful person and we have so much fun together!
Hope everyone has a wonderful day!
