I agree with everything that has been said before me. People can be such a**holes!

We have lost not only a person who had sworn to serve and protect us, but a family lost a husband, father, son, maybe a brother, a best friend.

May God embrace his family and friends.

Yes, I heard about this. It's very sad. On the other point you mentioned, I like that funerals for police and firefighters sometimes stop all the traffic. It is making a statement that we lost someone who worked hard to make the community a safe place, and everyone should pay attention to that.
