They are calling rain for Saturday but I hope it doesn't but the clouds are huge right now so I have no idea.

The kids do nothave nintendo ds. They paly with an old super nintendo that has a donkey knog game and a old play station that LG plays a racing game on it.
but they can bring what they like for sure and hook them up.

LOL Rocky will be very happy with all the attention he is going to get. He is an attention ***** in this area. He is always begging for it and he gets it too! Someone always has something to say about him and they have to pet him and hold him all the time. lol  He got that early this morning and they were all holding him becuase they kept saying he was freezing.  LOL He has a small t-shirt on. I better take a pic of him.

Thanks for the kind words Tia. It is important when I can make a difference in a child's life.

Wooo hoooo Saturday can not get here fast enough!

I am who I am and accept my feelings wholeheartedly.

Tia I totally understand where you are coming from with the smoking situation.  My mother has heart problems, and I have been telling her for years now to stop smoking.  She of course doesn't listen to me.  We don't allow smoking in the house, and my mother will go outside in the freezing cold just to smoke.  It's ridiculous, and the cost of them well that would be enough to make me quit if I was her.  I quit smoking back in September 2003, and had a slight relapse the summer of 2004, but I haven't touched a cigarette since October 2004.  I have no desire to ever smoke again!  Enough about that lol.

Today I am grateful:

1.  That Hunter (my son) and I will be spending the weekend at my best friends house.  It is going to be like a mini vacation away from my family lol.

2.  That even though I have a lot of things stressing me right now, I am keeping myself focused on this weight loss and surgery.

3.  For the internet, I would be lost without it lol!

Hope everyone has a great day!

OMG my mother is the same way.  She will complain that she has no money, and in the same breath hand me a $20 to go get her cigarettes.  It makes no sense to me lol.

When I choose my sons name, Hunter just stuck with me, and I was having a hard time finding something to go with it.  Then one day my mom and I were talking and she said what about giving him your fathers first name, and I was like oh my gosh why didn't I think of that.  My dads name is Charles Harvey, and my sons is Charles Hunter.  Now, my dad calls him Charlie and everyone else calls him Hunter, but I call him Boog lol.  It's just my little nickname for him, and he will hate it when he gets older I'm sure lol.

And yes, I am sooooooo addicted to the internet!  I love having the world at my finger tips lol!

((( Tia )))

Good morning from slightly overcast Texas !!!!   I got here without any problems though getting up at 3 a.m. and being at BWI at 4:45 a.m did seem a bit inhuman!   So far everything has been great.   Wendy's was the only place open when I went looking at the airport this a.m so I got a large decaf and a breakfast burrito!   Tool definitely works, because I made two attempts at the burrito and the last 3rd left after the 2nd attempt went into the trash!

The hotel is OMG awesome!   I'll take pictures (go figure.. lmao) of the view from my balcony.   It's not as sprawling as the Gaylord Opryland in Nashville, but the same idea with the different areas and the Texas theme.   My room has an atrium view, so I've got the door open to the balcony and I can hear the water fall out there.   I'm on the 6th floor so I feel pretty safe leaving the door open.

1) smooth flight helped by the mp3 player (didn't hear the crying child a few rows up from me .. )

2) Did I tell ya we had to take big blue back yesterday afternoon?   Well, I heard from Mr Mo that they are only charging us for the 'part' (busted power steering pump) not the labor since they should have figured that out when they had it all apart last Friday and rebuilt the front end!

3) That I have this opportunity to be here for this conference and network and see what is new and coming with this software!

Anywho .. time to go exploring !!!!  My friend Randy is coming about noon-ish (here time) to pick me up and take me out to a Tex-Mex place in Dallas.

Hugs, Mo

Comparison is the thief of joy!

If we spend our time comparing our life/weight loss/body to others, we totally miss what WE have accomplished.   Keep in mind how far you have come and what you can do now that you couldn't do weeks/months/years ago.   I hate the expression " It's all good", but in this case it fits!   Wherever you are in your journey  ... It's ALL good!!!

Hi Moie!!!!

Glad you made it safely!!!  I have a question - which ones got to accompany you?  Black?  Brown?  Red?  Or my guess - all three???  LOL!!!!

You?  Take pictures???  That's a good one!!!  Ah, the waterfall sounds nice!!!

You seem to be a crying child magnet, much like I am!!!  YIKES!!!

Yeah, you told me BB had to go back to the doc's!!!  Glad they're not charging you any more!!  Yes, they SHOULD have picked it up on Friday.  Hopefully, no more BB issues for a while!!

Ooooh, Tex-Mex - stay away from flour tortillas unless they're crispy!!!  Have fun!!

Bring me back a cowboy, purty please!!!

Love you,

Tia

Believe it or not .. just the red ones got packed.   I gave in to packing a pair of sandals (forgot that Texas are thin blooded and 70 is gonna be cold to them . lmao).  So I wore the red crocs, packed black flip flops, black sandals and the red boots!   I tried soooo hard not to overpack ..

Mr Mo was concerned my bag was going to be overweight.  That didn't seem to be the issue as american airlines charges for checked baggage anyway!

Well, they are charging us for the part . another $300 or so .. but not the labor to fix it .. that is a consolation!
