3 Things for TGIF!!!!!
TGIF EVERYONE!!!!!!!
1. i don't know what's going on......but I'm losing weight like a pound to two pounds every day for the past week!!!!!!
2. The weather has started getting much cooler since the front move through yesterday!!!!!
3. Everyone here.....i'm so grateful to have you all in my life :)

1. For the first time last night at my PCP - they did not have to get the extra large blood pressure
cuff WOOHOO - Used to really embarass me ( was 127/71 )
2. my a1c level was 6.0 - only 1 decible away from " normal adult"
3. That although I am a little anemic and need some extra vitamin D all the rest of the
blood work came back NORMAL
Today I am grateful....
1. That it is Friday. I felt like this week would never end!
2. That my boss won't be in till later this afternoon, and it is so quiet and peaceful in the office today.
3. For my PCP, I have been seeing her for 10 years now, and she has been on me about my weight for a long time. She may be blunt and kinda mean sometimes, but I know she cares and just wants me to be healthy. She is pushing for this surgery, and said she will do what she needs to so I am approved! She is the best!

yes already!! I think I am the first person in the world to WANT to go back to work...lol I just dont like being in the house! I was supposed to come back Monday but really wanted to come in today, the docs office gave me the ok so here I am!
yesterday for my pureed I ate:
2 tbsp eggbeaters with 1 tbsp l/f cheese, 1 tbsp s/f applesauce
2 tbsp chicken salad with 1 tbsp green beans, 1 tbsp s/f applesauce
1/4 cup bean & bacon soup
I did my two protein shakes also and to make sure I got in enough protein I did 4 tbsp of greek yogurt with some protein powder mixed in as an after dinner snack.
Beleive me it was HARD to get all that in!! Especially when you are not hungry but I want to be very diligent about getting my protein in.
Dont worry I remember thinking back that this day would NEVER be here but now it is and i cant believe it!!! It seems like such a long process but in the end it will be worth it!
Did you put the chicken salad in a food processor? Did you make it home made? So you got your 60-80 gms protein yesterday? I didn't know you could add protein powder to the greek yogurt, see I wouldn't have thought of that. I've had the fage in the fridge and been eating one for breakfast once in awhile, but I added some pumpkin butter to it, 1 TB on the top, to give it some flavor, but protein powder is a much better choice. It really is hard for me to wrap my mind around a few TB's of something as being enough to eat. But I am way willing and anxious to find out. I'm honestly, tired, of overeating, I don't know when to stop. I guess you knew that or I wouldn't be here.
