Okay, given the feedback that I've gotten so far (polls have not yet closed), it LOOKS like we're going to do a holiday brunch on Sunday, December 7 in Annapolis.

I'll research restaurants, so if anyone has firsthand knowledge of any good brunches in Annapolis, post away!!!!

In the meantime, keep your eyes and ears open.  There's no way to make a post "stick" at the top of the board, so unfortunately, I will have to repeat the post periodically.

I was also thinking that, since food is such a vital part of our lives, even as wls patients, we could all bring some canned/boxed goods for donation to a local soup kitchen.

Thanks for all the suggestions!!!

Ram's Head tavern has a great Sunday brunch.  I've been there before for brunch a few years ago.

But....but.....grilled cheese and tomato soup (made with milk), is a high protein comfort meal!!!  Especially provolone!!  Spray the pan with Pam and sprinkle garlic salt on the outside of the bread!!  YUM!!!

oh honey I cant' really do real bread yet.  I still have trouble with low carb tortillas warmed up in a pan with non-stick spray.

I'm up for the 7th and I'm sure Lacie will hold on, she's already coming 3 weeks early!!!  It would just be Kylie and me (Redskins vs. Ravens at home and I am giving my ticket to a buddy of Floyd's).  If I'm lucky I can get Mom to watch Kylie that Sunday for me so I can relax.  Not sure if I want to deal with little Miss Social on my own when I'm 37 weeks pregnant!  And btw, if anyone feels like rubbing my belly at the event they MIGHT pull back a stump! LOL  The food collection is a GREAT idea and a good way for us to clean out some things that we might not need or shouldn't be eating anyway!

I have a couple of suggestions, especially check out the last two sites!!!:

- Rams Head Tavern      ramsheadtavern.com/annapolis (10-2)
- Carrol's Creek Cafe      carrolscreek.com (10-1:30)
- Severn Inn     severninn.com (10-2)
