Southern MD support group ?

Hi Diane, I live just down the street from you in the marina and recently had surgery. I have class the next 2 Thursday's but will start going to the support group after that. Should you decide to start one over here let me know.

I assume you are at Calvert Marina.  We had our boat at "H" dock for 20 years.  Hubby and I now have waterfront property to keep our boat.  Do you own a boat??  We all love the old oak tree.  I think I am going to go to the Lex Park support group on Thursdays.  I don't have enough knowledge to be informative about different types of surgeries.  I don't work so I have time to slack, if you do we could have coffee at Woodburn's.  Thanks Cindy.  Diane 

Yes we do have a boat, we have a charter boat on the charter dock and we recently sold our sailboat that we had on FF dock for years. The charter boat is "Josephine" and website is www.fishjosephine.com . We love it here and instead of buying waterfront my husband tells me that our next home will float. In fact we spent the day yesterday at the boat show in Annapolis. When I finish this class on Thursday's I will start attending the group also. Coffee sounds good when I get finished with this class.    Cindy

Small world,  We had a 45' sailboat and sold it because we were getting older.  I did look at your website and hubby doesn't ring a bell, but  the name "Josephine" does..  , we are selling our property to downsize and still thinking of floating.  (Trawler maybe)  We will see what the market will bare.  Did you know Edith who owned the cafe???  Her husbands boat was "Miss Maxine" Looking forward to meeting you.    By the way you surprised me by saying Charter Boat and sailboat in the same paragraph.  Wow.  Diane 

Wow it is small, and yes to say sailboat and charter in same sentence is odd. My husband loves to fish but has always had sailboats and raced. We just got the charter boat 18 mos ago. It's funny you said maybe a Trawler because that is what we looked at this weekend. I didn't know Edith but know the boat. You're selling your property?   Cindy

Yes, we are downsizing.  It's a good way to say we have too much house for retirement.  Do you like living in the townhouses??  We live on Curtis Rd which is the road before Ann Marie Gardens.  If you would follow the signs for Chris McNelis waterfront we are there.   Diane

Chris is great she is our realtor too. She is handling our house in CRE and got us into this one. We love it here we got into a 4 bdr with option. We started in July with 4 kids still at home and now only have 1 here. Guess we didn't need that many rooms after all. Cindy
