Southern MD support group ?

Hi there.  I am from S. Md.  Is anyone out there who wants to have a support group?  I feel lonesome.  Diane

The Gastric Bypass Mutual Support Group discusses issues such as emotional eating and eating and exercise habit building. The group has experience from many different sources as well as the 3 main Bariatric Centers of Excellence in the D.C./Baltimore area. Attending a support group is important because you will have a lot of questions that you need answered before you have the surgery and afterwards that only patients can answer. We share celebrations as well as problem areas as we take this journey together. Family members/friends are welcome to learn how to better support.

The mutual support group meets every Thursday evening from 6:00 to 7:30.

Can you tell me why the meeting is in Lexington Park?.  Someone said it was near the museum.  I am presuming that they mean the aircraft museum.  Do you attend the meetings?  I plan on going next Thursday night.  CRE scares the heck out of me.  I feel I could get lost very easily in there.  LOL  Diane

Why is the meeting in LexPk?  Because there is a need for it.  Last week we had the most attendees at the meeting than we've ever had before.  Clearly, that shows a need.

Head SOUTH on 235 to the Gate 1/Pegg Road intersection (Gate 1 is the first and primary entrance in to PaxRvr Air Station).  Be sure to be in the far left lane, because at the light, you'll need to do a U-turn.  The entrance in to the air museum is the first right hand turn.  Actually, the meeting is held in a building adjacent to the museum.  We are in a one-story red brick building.  Enter in to the first door on the left.
