I have posted a couple times about a good surgeon in Baltimore that offers follow-up as part of the package? It would be nice to have someone from University of Maryland Medical System downtown do the surgery and follow-up -- does anyone have any recommendations?

ahhhhhh.....UMM has a great bariatric program!!!! I went there to have mine done and my surgeon was Dr. Mark Kligman. He is the director of Bariatric Surgery. I do all my follow up appointments with him and his nut and NP. So on my follow up visits, I see all three of them while I'm there rather than just him. It's a great comprehensive program. When you go there for surgery, you get a private room which is wonderful!

Thanks for the shout out! I will go over there and see if I can make an appointment - unfortunatley I cant make the next seminar , I will be out of town at a conference. So, this Doctor does a pacakage deal - surgery, follow up and fills for one price?

OH are you looking for a lap band doctor?????? unfortunately Dr. K. only does RNY......I'm not sure about any lap band docs there. Wouldn't hurt to call and ask to see if there are any there!
