When's the next Crofton support meeting?
I am sorry you got rude pm's by people here. I hope you get to go to the support group and get lots of help. I am sure you will like going to the crofton support group.
Take care and I hope that who ever was rude to you doesn't stop you from posting here again.
Have a great day!
I am who I am and accept my feelings wholeheartedly.

Thank you Cira. I've been posting on the VSG board, as there doesn't seem to be any or very few here on the MD board that have had the same procedure. And I think most folks here didn't like when I said that I have TriCare at Johns Hopkins but they wouldn't cover VSG. Dr. Alvarez has done more VSG's than all the surgeons at JH combined, and for self pays it was $7,500 less. I have no regrets about my decision to go there.
I had surgery on Tuesday, flew to BWI and then drove myself home on Friday. Dr. said I was one of a few who had no swelling in esphogus or stomach, and I've had none of the gas pains I read about. Since Thursday I've managed to get in the minimum of 64 oz of fluids and 60 grams of protein each day. (Even though these liquid proteins and bullets are totally disgusting). I get to start on full liquids next Friday and will probably take all these leftover bullets to the support group for anyone who wants them.
Thanks again for your response.
