To all who had surgery this week...

You all should be so proud of yourselves! I'm proud to just be associated with you all! Everyone sounds so positive, and energized and ready for the next set of challenges that are ahead of them.

This isn't the easiest time, but it is a rewarding time and the weight loss you will most likely experience will make you see that you did the best thing for yourself. This is when all of the eating right that you did pre-op is for real. Now, you HAVE to follow what you were trying to follow just a few weeks ago. That is the challenge. Finding what you can eat, what you are hungry (or more likely NOT hungry for), etc. Don't worry if you can't tolerate something you think you should. Your tastes change, and might even change again. It's a guessing game for the first little while. Don't push yourself!

For anyone who still has a JP drain in, be patient! They will come out soon, and you'll feel soooo much better.

We're all here for you.

Congrats again, and welcome HOME to the MD board!

Don't forget... sip sip, walk walk, take vits and meds, repeat .
Hugs!
