I'm glad you home.  I wish you a speedy recovery.  Welcome to the loser's bench :)

Thanks Sharmall. We can sit on this bench for a little while but then we need to go and walk .
How are you feeling after your surgery?  Are you progressing as well as you feel you should be?

Warm regards,
Ren

Hi Ren,

I agree we can't sit too long.  We must get up and get moving :)  I'm feeling pretty good these days.  I think I'm progressing very well.  How about you?  How are you feeling these days?

Ren,
Oh I remember that first week. Just do the best you can and let others do the rest. This first year needs to be about YOU period. The first year is the time that you will loose the fastest and easiest. USE it to you advantage.
I literally started doing 5- 5 min walks a day, the 3-4, 10 min walks. Now I do 7-8 miles. I am thinking about getting crazy and looking into doing a 5k but well that thought still scares me, LOL!
I too used Dr. Roe, and Yes, ours is considered an open but it isn't as bad as the open that most DR's do thank goodness.
Oh and hey we will be neighbors too! I live in Essex, on Maryland Ave. Down by the post office.
We all need to do a get together soon. I just need to get a week where I am not so stinking busy.

Dianne
