Victoria,

57 lbs! Congratulations! That is phenomenal.

Thanks for the insight on the blenderized food. That might help. I was amazed at all the insulin they gave me in the hospital since I've never taken any previously. I knew I was diabetic, but was always in denial in a way, knowing that that I would have the surgery that would take care of it.  I guess I'll find out soon enough.

My question mostly was whether or not your cravings turned toward something else as opposed to food.  I just recently began reading again, and want to try and use that to help ward off the boredom eating which was my biggest issue.

Maybe that's a question I'll post on the board and see what other options people come up with. I know walking will be one answer, but its not always possible while at work.

My regards to you,
Ren

I put my house on the market in late May, whoda ever thunk it would sell this fast, or this close to surgery! LoL

But... the nice thing is, I know one way, or another it will get done.

I'll be moving over to Middlesex from Edgewood.

Looking forward to meeting you Helen,

Ren

Jilly,

That's a very sweet offer, and I may take you up on it? I have a couple of teenage sons, but we know how they are. Workable as long as you don't mind the fine china being dropped or the chair being smashed against the wall.. YIKES!

Thanks Jilly,

I'll talk with you about it soon?

Warm regards,
Ren

Jilly,
Hi.  We were scheduled to move this coming weekend, however we aren't sure now since the person redoing the hardwood floors can't come until then. Hopefully the we can postpone the move until the following week.

Warm regards,
Ren

Glad to hear your home; I got home yesterday afternoon. Smooth surgery and feeling better than I expected.

Remember sip, sip, sip, walk, walk, walk.

Thanks! I'm glad you are feeling better than you anticipated.

That sip sip walk walk thing is a lot harder than I thought it would be.  I'm not sure when I'm full and when I realize it... OW!

Belches are a bit uncomfortable also. But, in the end, I'm sure it will be worth all of it. I am definitely looking forward to stage 2 food.

~hugs~
