Anyone ever have a colonic?

I was thinking about getting one to help with my "issues" but don't want to waste my time if they aren't helpful. Anyone get one before? What did you think? Any suggestions of where to go? Thanks!

Nic -

You KNOW I love you, but I also happen to think you're nucking futs for even considering this.

I went to my medical catch-all site from the Mayo Clinic, and here's the link:

What's your doctor say?  Whatever you decide, PLEASE be careful!!

Nope this is me running fast away from that! LOL

But if you do what I was telling you in the pm I think you will do great.   By the way I forgot to mention there is a dieter's tea by Lacie Le Beau Super dieter's tea.  it will help you go and not the running type just keeps you going. I always keep a box of that here.   You can buy it just about anywhere, walgreens, cvs maybe even walmart.

By the way with your issues I seriously doubt it will help it my irritate you more.
Good luck sweetie.

I am who I am and accept my feelings wholeheartedly.

I've done it twice. It really isn't as bad as you think it would be and I felt much better and lighter afterwards. lol

My thoughts are like Tia's---its not necessary and could be harmful.  (they say the same about vaginal douching too).
I would say ask a GI doc about it first as there is possibility of rupturing or injuring the colon (depending on methods used)
Perhaps using a fleets prep kit----like used before surgeries - would be a safer method to use once in a while to "flush out" the colon.  Just my 2 cents
