Hi everyone! Phew! I have been off the board for almost two weeks and I feel like I have missed SO MUCH! I have kept up with a few of you via email and myspace so you guys know the scoop.
I have been going through a "breast cancer scare". I swear the not knowing and the waiting are far worse then just finding out and knowing. I wont know the results until the 13th of October. I wish I knew now. I havent been eating or sleeping much. I am slacking on my emails and my myspace. This just isnt like me but when you hear that you may have cancer everything just comes to a complete hault. All I could think about was Mike and my girls. So now I will get the results and move forward no matter what the results may be. I have a very good feeling that it may just be fibroids and I keep telling myself that. Women in my family have had those before. And I am younger  (33) so I hope that is on my side too. I have not let this scare slow me down on the WLS train though. I have already been to Cardiology twice, Dr K's office, the therapist, and gyn. Now I need to get a scope done by Dr K due to excessive heartburn and losing my voice a lot due to acid reflux. Ugh! Anyway I hate all the test but I am knocking them all out as quick as I can. Dr K wants to set up my RNY for November. I am so READY!
I am so excited for EVERYONE who has went in for their surgeries while I was MIA and for those going in this week. Many ((((((Hugs)))))))  to you all! I hope all goes well. And to all of the newbies..........WELCOME! Im Jilly and I live in Pasadena. ;o)
Ok...I have so missed you guys and no matter what I will try and post atleast once a day. I have just been so FRAZZLED lately. Hope your all doing well. ;o) ~Jilly~

Thank you so much Terri. My husband and I have played out every scenario together even worse case and I now know I can handle anything. I am staying positive because nobody in my family has ever had it, im young(ger), and I never took birth control pills.(Which I heard play a part in breast cancer) So for now I am truly thinking positive. Thanks again. Have a great day ~Jilly~

Jilly honey I am so sorry you are going through this scare. I am sorry I haven't been keeping up with myspace and had no idea.  I will definitely keep you in my thoughts and prayers for good results.

That is great that soon you will be joining us on the loser's bench.

Thank you Cira!!! Your so sweet! I have not been doing too well updating my friends on myspace either. I have just been feeling so BLAH like time has been standing still almost. But I feel much better now. Its just the waiting that is the worse. I have to get another mammogram and an MRI which I never even knew they did for breast. If anything I am atleast educating myself. ;o) Thanks again.  xoxox~Jilly~

My thoughts and prayers are with you!

Reminder to everyone that October is Breast Cancer awareness month!  So, don't forget to feel the tatas!

Myspace now has a page dedicated to Breast Cancer Support.  The link is www.myspace.com/pinktogether.  Lots of interesting stories on there.

Thank you. ;o) You know every year I donate money to the Susan Komen foundation and have friends who get involved in the race for a cure. I always think "that will never happen to me". I know millions of women go through the "Scare" yearly getting tested and I feel like its stress we need to make us more aware. I would love to check out the myspace page. When I have my break later today I will check it out. Thanks again honey. xoxo ~Jilly~

I can so relate:  I am going thru a scare myself right now:  Mine started with a routine mammogram:  two weeks later I got a letter saying they needed more views and
a sonogram :  had to wait a month to get the appointment:  then the radiologist comes
in and says we need a biopsey - waited for the lab to call and get the appointment-
Last friday I got a message left at the house -  A different radiologist saying
she does not think a biopsy is needed:  that they can just "watch" it for a while.
I am waiting to talk to my GYN to figure out how to proceed.

Its a frustrating thing to be going thru.  I will keep you in my prayers
