I have not been getting alot of views or responses so I am starting to understand why Andy left. But I will forge on if only for the few that do find benefit from this post, namely me

My personal trainer did kick my butt and I have a little foot issue today. Not sure if I will exercise. I might just do 20-30 minutes on the treadmill. Plus I am going to take on more responsibility at lucky cat rescue. I might be going there tonight.

what about you?

Hi Nicole,
I'll make a commitment to you that I will respond everyday.  I'm going to go get dressed and go for a brisk walk right now!!!!  See ya!

tonight I get to do my first weight circuit.  I think I have lost so much muscle in my arms that they look like sticks with lots of skin!  LOL  There's about 12 machines that I'll do 12 reps 3 times each.  After that I may go on the treadmill.....depends on the knee.  Tomorrow I have my water exercise class!

Last night I met with my trainer.  Did 1 hour of aerobics first, then 1 hour of strength training.  Actually I feel ok but I'm waiting till tomorrow.

I have pool classes tonight! - I always look forward to pool nights, even if my skin does get itchy afterwards. I always shower after to minimize the impact on my skin. Sometimes it works and sometimes it does not. I have heard there is a product that you can put on your skin before the pool to protect it from an allergic reaction. Does anyone know what it is? I would love to try it!

Thanks,

Debbie

Last night :  1 hour pilates, 20 minutes treadmill and the weight circuit

And I love this post :  makes me feel guilty if I do not exercise and have nothing to post

Tonight will be 2 hours of water exercise - My favorite night of exercise.
Will probably do the weight circuit again and a half hour on the treadmill

Ok, I did my brisk 25 minute walk.  I realize I'm not where some of you are but I'm trying.  I love this weather.  I'll walk again tomorrow and then Thursday I'm taking a Zumba class with my support group in Easton.

that is great. don't worry bout what other people can do. there will always be someone who can do more and less. just focus on yourself. let me know how that zumba class is.

Nicole,
Thank you for starting the exercise thread up again.  There are several reasons why I abandoned it, most of which I discussed with Tia during a PM session I had with her.  It's an important thread as exercise is something that should be a part of all our lives, in some way shape or form.

I have not quit exercising by any means.  In fact, I finally found a gym to join in my area and I've been working harder than I have since I've moved to Maryland.  I'm training to run the Philadelphia Marathon the third week of November.  I'm very excited and very nervous at the same time.  Kind of like when I went in for my wls.

Today I went to the gym twice, this afternoon for an hour and a half on the treadmill and tonight for my weight lifting.  I'm on a very strict schedule right now as I get ready for next month's race.  Every other day long distance of road work and off days on the treadmill and weight training.

"No matter how hard life may get, no matter how many curveballs you are thrown, keep in mind, if you want to succeed - QUITTING IS NOT AN OPTION"!!!
