Good morning!!  Hope everyone had a great weekend!!  The weather was beautiful!!!  OMG!!  A perfect fall weekend!!

Today I'm grateful for:

1.  I had my 4th date on Saturday night with the same guy!!!  All we did was have a beer and a crabcake at my fave dive bar and listen to jukebox music, but I really enjoy his company!!!  And did I mention he's cute, too???   It turned a sucky SaturDAY into a good Saturnight!!

2.  Dunkin' Donuts vanilla spice coffee, Alpine Mills s/f hot cider and s/f Bomb Pops!!!  S/F life is good!!!

3.  That I have the inner strength to pull myself up by my bootstraps and continue to go on.  Not alone, though!!!  I couldn't get through my day without the help of my "other" family.

Have a wonderful day!!

Yummy to all the s/f stuff you are having and not sharing with me.
I hope you have a wonderful week!!

Today I am gratful for:

1. The beautiful fall weather. I took Rocky for his walk this morning and I was taking deep breaths.  It felt so good to breathe in that crisp cold morning air. I LOVE IT!

2. for my daughter Jessica that surprised me yesterday and made me cry (in a good way)
Maybe she is growing up to be a decent daughter afterall.  Thank you Jessie!

3. for all the support I receive from my friends and family.

Have a wonderful day everyone.

hugs,

I am who I am and accept my feelings wholeheartedly.

Hey girl!!!

OMG!!!  He is SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO cute!!!  Very short hair (almost non-existent) and a goatee.  He's a college campus cop.  I'll hunt around my email files and see if I have a pic!!  Really a nice guy!!!  Very much a workaholic - these late night dates are KILLING the Princess!!!!

When Darla and I come to WV, I'll bring you some of the s/f stuff!!!  Are the leaves turning yet?  We need to get there before the bad weather hits!!!  I'll talk to her about a day trip!!!

I'm SO glad Jessie seems to be getting her act together - those grown-up children need to realize how lucky they are!!!!!

You have a great week, too!!  I'll get Rocky's coat in the mail to you this week!!

Love you,

Tia

Tia glad to see you posting again. sounds like things are going well in the man department.

1. Eviction letters. i'm getting rid of the guy in my house who is an idiot and doesn't pay on time. I get to put the letter on his door when i get home from work. hubby was making me not be reactionary (sp?) but he finally pissed him off too so i can get rid of the sucker.

2. my newfound energy. lately i have been so energetic i almost don't know what to do with myself. i am just so grateful for this and hope that it stays that way for awhile.

3. meeting new friends. had a wonderful time on saturday meeting people off the oh board. my only regret is that none of my maryland friends came with me. you guys missed a good time. we definitely need to go together if there is a next time.

Hey Nic!

Bill's a great guy and a good time - which, unfortunately, because he's also a workaholic, is all he'll ever be.  But he's a nice Mr. Right Now!!!!

Glad things are looking up!!  You had a busy weekend!!!

Hang tough with the eviction - it's scary to find out the rights that people who don't pay have!!  Just document everything so you're covered!!

Good morning Everyone

Tia   Glad to have you back on the boards: I know last week was awful for you
but I am so glad you are back.

Today I am grateful for

1.  After missing church for the last month ( 2 weeks vacay, 1 week work,
and 1 week - just too tired and pmsing to go out) I went back yesterday.
It truly felt wonderful to be back "home".  I've been a member of
the same church my whole life and yesterday morning was
greeted with open arms and people saying they have missed
seeing me.  Of course this was at the early service and I usually
go to the late one  so many of these people have not seen be in
literally months.  The pastor took one look at me and said "Well
I don't have to ask if you are still going to the MAC"  .  I didn't
admit to him that I haven't been for a month but then again he
hasn't been either.  When a friend of my parents asked where
they were I told them I was going out with friends in the early
afternoon and My parents would be at the later service she
responeded with " Well good for you; its about time
you had some fun."  I love this lady :  shes been in my life since
I was born and has been a huge supporter of everything I have
done this past year- even to the point of telling Mom not to
get on me about not being around home as much as I was
preop.  She told her " Ruth for years you worried and prayed
that God would help Darla and give her a life:  well now he has-
be grateful and deal with it."

2.  For spending time with friends yesterday:  Ladies I had a
blast;  and a big wow moment for all of us was that we walked
around for all that time and only stopped and sat down
when we ate some lunch.  4.5 hours walking -  not bad
for women that could never have done that last year.

3.  For Pilates class tonight :  Cann't wait to feel that stretch

So Whats going on in your world today?

Welcome back Tia!!

Today I am grateful...

1.  That my pants are so loose on me I may be able to go down a size by the end of this month!!!  Woo Hoo!!!!

2.  For my son...  He is 3 years old and he can be a terror at times, but he is my world!  He fills my heart with so much love and joy!

3.  That I am finally getting out of this depression I have been in for years.  For the past 2 years I have been so depressed about my weight, and about my sons father and I breaking up for good.  I was too the point that I really never wanted to get out of bed, and the only reason I did is because of my son.  Two months ago I finally made up my mind to do this surgery once and for all, and to not let anything get in the way or stop me.  I made a commitment to lose weight for my own health and for my son.  I also have been able to forgive my sons father, and we have become wonderful friends.  Surprisingly, his new girlfriend and I have become so close, and even if things don't work out for them I will still have her for a friend.  My future is looking so much better as the days go on, and life is so much happier!

4.  That I have my faith in God.  God answers prayers, maybe not when we want or how we want them answered, but he does answer them.  I am so blessed!

Hope everyone has a good day!

Thanks, Becki!!!

I'm glad to see you doing so well - it will stand you in good stead post-op!!!

Just wait until you go down a pants size in ONE WEEK!!!  I know it sounds hard to believe now, but it WILL happen!!!

Depression is SUCH an insidious thing - and weight-related depression majorly sucks!!!  I'm glad you're feeling better about things.

Only good things are in your future!!!

Hugs,

Tia
