Good morning!

I am going to post this before I get my daughter to the bust stop and go for my daily walk with my neighbor. I hope you all have a wonderful day!

My affirmation:

I know that every negative condition of the past is swept aside. I refuse to see it or to think about it. Yesterday is no longer here; tomorrow has not yet arrived. Today is God’s day. God’s day is my day. Today, bright with hope and filled with promise, is mine. I am alive, awake, and aware—today.

I am who I am and accept my feelings wholeheartedly.
Those that mind don't matter, and those that matter don't mind.

Cira,

I really admire you for these. I have been reading them every day. I have been having a hard time wording one that does not sound negative or conditional in some way. But I am going to try anyway.

I trust my ability to make decisions for myself that I feel are right for me. I am not influenced by what others may think of my decisions.

it's good that you recognize the negative and conditional tone of your thinking about yourself. i hope that one day you can feel less negative about yourself. you are a wonderful hardworking lady

Thanks Nicole, It is so hard to reverse so many years of thinking that way. I truly admire your confidence you display!

i don't know what the rules of affirmations are so i'm having a hard time coming up with them lol. I guess the only thing i can think of is this:

I am ok no matter whether I am succeeding or failing. I am ok because I exist.

These make me feel all warm and fuzzy!!!  Thanks, Cira!!

Mine:

I deserve to be loved and respected by a decent, kind, caring man with good family values and morals.  He will come into my life, not necessarily when *I* am ready for it to happen, but when God sees fit for it to happen.

Have a great day!!!  And um....Cira, sweetie???  Isn't Gianna a LITTLE too young to be going to a BUST stop????  OMG!!!  LOL!!!

Love you!

Hi Cira,  Thank you for starting this thread, I've enjoyed reading the posts. I'm not sure if this counts as an affirmation...more like something to consider when people leave you exasperated, hurt and disappointed...

"Being forgiven bears the responsibility of being forgiving."

"You can always choose today to be braver than you were yesterday."
