Introducing myself :)

Hi everyone :)
I thought i would introduce myself.  I am new to the MD board.  My husband and i are both posties.  I am over 6 yrs post op and he will be 4 yrs in december.  We moved into the Maryland area a few months ago.  He is from PA, MD area growing up.  Beautiful country here.  Anyway, a bit about me, i am 41, mom of three daughters, 2 grand daughters.  I was 302lbs pre op, size 32.  I am currently 138 lbs and size 4-6.  I did have some ps at a yr out.  My husband is snoopy7601 or steven lol.  He was 750lbs pre op and is now 348.

It sounds like you have had a wonderful one.
I am 15 months post op and I started at 362 - I have lost 121 Lbs. too date but
would love too love a lot more-  time will tell -  You will give a lot of encouragement
to out preops and recent postops.  So again welcoome to the Maryland board -

Thank you for the welcome.  Great job on the weight loss.  Just keep doing what you are supposed to and it will come off.  Remember though that our bodies have their own weight they want us at :) Keep up the good work, if i can help at all ask away :)

Congrats on both you and your husbands WLS journey. I am 2 years out and down 175 and still trying to get down 50 more pounds.

I see you live in Thurmont. They have a big arts and crafts Fair called Colorfest that my family goes to and I have never been but going this year.

wonderful job!  actually the colorfest is held not far from our house lol. This is our first year here in Thurmont.  I am looking forward to the colorfest.    I love this town.  Not to small and not to far from anywhere else if want to go.

Hi there and welcome to the MD forum!!!!  I am just under 5 months out from my surgery and have lost a total of 170 pounds and have 120 to go :)  I started out at 500 so me and your husband have a little bit in common in the fact that we were both super morbidly obese when we started our journey.  Will he be posting here too?

You have done great!  i will ask him to take the time out to post on here.  it will help him and i am sure he will be able to help you all some.  Support is important.  I support him but i am not a man so it is different lol.  thank you for the welcome.  Oh i believe his profile is snoopy7601.  I think he still has himself listed in ky but i am not sure lol.

The maryland board is very active and we love to have new members. Not sure where you live but we are always getting together, usually in the baltimore county area though we do travel to meet each other. Sounds like you did a wonderful job with your wls and your husband is amazing. I'm so happy to hear that you are both successes. I am almost 8 months out and losing slowly but surely. My goal is to get under 200 lbs. Keep ur fingers crossed.
