3 THINGS FOR FRIDAY!!!
Today, I'm grateful for:
1. It's Friday. I don't think we can emphasize that enough!!! I have a jam-packed weekend of things to do - fun and not so.
2. That I have a LONG weekend - I'm off on Monday since schools are closed Monday and Tuesday. B has an allergist appointment, but depending upon the weather, we're gonna do SOMETHING fun. Maybe a movie, bowling or the playground. K's first pick would be the mall, but not B's!!
3. Comfort Food - *GASP!* Yes, I'm grateful for food!! LOL!! The weather was so yucky yesterday that it just seemed a good night for tomato soup and grilled cheese - one of my fave meals!! Then, I wanted chocolate (big surprise there), and decided to try the Swiss Miss Diet Hot Chocolate. It was pretty good, although next time I'll make it with skim milk instead of water. I REALLY miss drinking peppermint hot chocolate, so I've either got to find it s/f or buy s/f peppermint syrup!!
Have a great weekend!!!! And for those of you whom I'll see over the weekend and on Monday - I can't wait!!
Hugs,
Tia
It's Payday
oh . did I mention it's friday AND payday ???
We have a packed weekend too. I even got a head start this morning on the weekend 'chores' ... got a load of laundry run through, just have to get it in the dryer when I get home and start the next load of wash. Mr Mo has to work tomorrow but is SURE he will be done in time for us to make it to Gettysburg by 1 p.m. I've got instructions to meet him at 10 a.m. in Linthicum! I bet he's going to be one very tired puppy by the time we get home tomorrow evening, then we have an event with Mack on Sunday at Sunrise Farms in Gambrills.
I'm still battling this sinus/allergy thing. I guess it is going to linger on until the weather picks a season and sticks with it!
Hugs, Mo
Comparison is the thief of joy!
If we spend our time comparing our life/weight loss/body to others, we totally miss what WE have accomplished. Keep in mind how far you have come and what you can do now that you couldn't do weeks/months/years ago. I hate the expression " It's all good", but in this case it fits! Wherever you are in your journey ... It's ALL good!!!
Might try the Claritin-D though. Used to use Claritin when it as a 'script' thing.
Hugs, Mo

Today I am grateful for:
1. My parents : yes I know I use this one a lot but what can I say : they support me and
encourage me thru everything.
2. My friends who kept me from the ledge these last couple days; Ladies the emails do
help trust me :
3. Seeing a few of you tonight and tomorrow night - gonna have to miss Monday
but you can all have a "Rita" for me.
EDITING TO ADD A FOURTH I FORGOT THIS EARLIER
4. THE SCALE IS MOVING AGAIN ; DON'T KNOW IF ITS STRESS OR WHAT
BUT I LOST 5 POUNDS SINCE GETTING BACK FROM THE CRUISE - SORRY ABOUT
THE CAPS BUT THIS IS THE FIRST TIME ITS MOVED IN A COUPLE MONTHS.
1 - I have to agree with TGIF. For some reason this has been a hard week. I feel like the day of the day cannot come fast enough!
2 - Opportunities - OK - So today I have finally undone, weight wise the damage I caused last weekend. I have been at this spot before. So it is up to me to manage this weekend. Still I am thankful for this opportunity.
3 - Mixed Blessings - I have a jam packed weekend. I will enjoy every moment of it. So I would not change it one bit. Still I have so much I need to get done personally, I don't see how I will have a chance. Anyway, I am seeing 2 different groups of friends on Friday and Saturday evenings. And on Sunday, we are celebrating the twins 13th birthday! Amazing! They grow so fast. After the birthday celebration, I also have snorkel practice in preparation for my trip which is now 16 days away.
Tia - A possible alternative for your cocoa. You might want to try a little peppermint extract. It is easy to find in all the grocery stores than peppermint syrup.. Just be stingy with it. A little goes a long way. It is much stronger than adding an extract like vanilla.
DP -
NEVER apologize for being grateful for your family. They're the one constant you can always count on. Even if you use them as a grateful every day, so what???!!! A lot of people aren't as lucky as we are!!!
I'm gonna start a business, "Ledge Yankers!!" That's what we're here for!!
Looking forward to seeing everyone, too!!
THAT'S GREAT ON THE SCALE MOVING DOWNWARD!! IT SHOULD BE IN ALL CAPS!!
Hugs,
Tia
