OH Event in Falls Church VA

Hello!  Sorry for being MIA for a while.  Lots of things going on but they are getting taken care of.

So, who's going to the OH Event in Falls Church on October 11th?

Several members of my support group in Easton are planning to attend.  It would be GREAT to have a large number of people from this board to attend.

Because I am a Support group leader, I have a code that will get you into the entire day of activities for $20.00!  Now that is a BARGAIN these days. 

When you register, just use this code;  Reithmuller08 (make sure you cap the "R" or it won't work).  This will give you 50% off of your admission ticket.

Let me know who will be attending and we can plan to meet up at a central location so that everyone will know the MD board is well represented!!!!

Hey Jen! We are going to Webers farm on the 11th, and then probably to El Salto in Parkville, just up the road. It will be a great opportunity for you to get some walking in, if you feel up to it. I know DS is a little more involved than RNY, but by 1 week post-op, I was so stir crazy I could have used an event like that. I was operated on in December, so I was up and Christmas shopping by day 3 post-op, lol. In fact, one week after my surgery I went with my roommate to Chick-Fil-A and ate the broth out of a bowl of chicken noodle soup. So, I even had my first restaurant experience very early out.
