Anyone near Frederick looking for size 20 clothing?

I have a number of things, mostly 20, but a few a bit smaller, too...... 4 suits (with pants, not skirts) several coats, a bunch of sweaters, etc ) that are in pretty good shape, but I have shrunk down from them. (Mid price point, mostly from Boscovs, Bon Ton and Macys. Some still with labels)

Before I take them to Goodwill, is anyone here interested in picking them up?  (I'm in Frederick County, and would prefer that someone pick them up. so I can avoid the post office.)  I'm 5'9", and  dress more casually than corporate.style)

Free to good home, if you promise to pass them along to the next shrinking person in need after you. :)  Barbara

Hey Barbara -

That's so generous of you!!!  I bet Jen H. would jump at these - I'll email her and let her know, because I haven't seen her on the boards in a couple of days.

Thanks,

Tia

If you have any closer to a small 18 or 16. I'll take em....

I have tons of stuff in 26/28 (from the pre-op days) to get rid of cause they are just piled in my spare bedroom....

Batting 100, you skinny minnie...thats what I'm wearing now too!   I'm in New Market, working downtown... how about you?

Tia, I'll wait a bit to see if Jen surfaces.

I live on the north end of the city of Fred.....  (off of rt 15)

I wish i were working (so does our mortgage company) as i am between jobs at the moment.

Still looking and hoping though.

I would love to get the job with City of Fred that i interviewed for on Monday but I'm afraid to get my hopes up.

I plan to look around at a couple of Thrift stores tomorrow because i know that my late Fall/winter clothes are pretty much gone (ok too big to consider wearing in public)

With little to no $ to budget for this...I'm hoping to score at Goodwill.

I normally do pretty well at Goodwill.  Last time I was there I bought 5 pair of jeans, a pair of slacks from Talbot's and 3 shirts for less than the cost of one pair of jeans.

Good luck on the job front.

If you haven't had any takers I will.  I am in Germantown MD and just lost enough to get into a 20.  I promise to pass them along.

well did my rounds of two stores today...

Scored a nice blue suit and another jacket and blouse all for $25 at the Hospital thrift shop (on Patrick)

Then went to Church St. Goodwill...

Found a blue purse to go with suit above...., a brand new silky white blouse, a black pin-stripe suit (nicer 1" stripes than typical 1/2" spacing) and then one other shirt. all for $32

Saw a few other things i might want if i have time to go back on Sunday (1/2 price day)

I think i did pretty good considering the same type of pin-stripe suit alone was $50 at JC Penny last week.

Hey Kim... are you back at the fields playing soccer mom......?

Send me a pm.....maybe i can stop by to say hi sometime....
