Approved!!

Hi Everyone-
I've posted here before and actually have been lucky enough to meet some of you. I wanted to share my  (gulp) good news! I've been approved for surgery. No date yet- I'll get that later this week. Actually it'll be GBP with Dr Steele at Bayview.
Thanks to all for your encouragement - but man am I freaking out inside right now-
Anxious and excited all at the same time-   ACK!!!!!
So you'll probably get sick of hearing from me now-

That is so awesome Donna!!!!!!!  I'm excited for you.  From now until you have your surgery is going to be one heck of a rollercoaster.  Looks like you're already starting to run the emotional gambit :)  Can't wait to have you on the loser's bench!!!

Thanks, Aaron. It seems like forever when you're doing the nutrition classes etc. and I guess I was just really surprised at how fast the approval went. On Friday, they told me the insurance company didn't have everything and that it would take 30 days from when they did have it. Well, I guess they found it and boom bang, I got the call from Bayview and then from the insurance company today. I'm hoping for sometime in Nov ..

Great news Donna!  But how come you got Steele instead of Schweitzer?  I know he is UBER busy, is she taking his overflow?

Congratulations, this is an exciting time.  Make sure that you journal and then a few months after you can go back and look at all you have accomplished.

so happy to hear your news. i had dr. steele and she is a wonderful surgeon. i've had no issues since my surgery except w/ my head of course. but she didn't operate there. good luck with your surgery.
