Well it's good that you are feeling some relief from the shot, but freakin' OUCH!  I wonder why cortizone hurts so much?  Maybe it's oil based.  It's good that he's trying to avoid surgery and I'm not sure that surgery can correct arthritis anyway.  Get to the gym while you feel like you can!  btw, hope you had a great weekend!!!

Every now and then I get emails in my junk mail from people I know.  It's like a hiccup in the system or something.  Glad you are having a good time sweetie!

Oh Aaron! I am so sorry you have had to go through this. It is good that they got the fluid out. Hopefully, the cortizone shot will do the trick. I got one several months ago in my elbow and it is still doing its magic. Of course the stress on a knee is much more than that on an elbow. Still, I hope it works for you. My fingers are crossed!

Aaron,

Have they checked you for lyme disease?  My son had the same thing happen to him...no other symptoms......he knee swelled up so we thought it was a soccer injury.......nope.....our orthopaedic doc says yellow means infection......they tested for infection and found lyme disease......

No i don't think they have checked me for lyme disease, however I haven't had any ticks around me.  He did originally think it was gout or pseudo gout but they are going to analyze the fluid that they took out of me to see what's causing it.
