On Friday, I got a lovely surprise in the mail: An autographed copy of Ranesa's book, "Gastric Bypass Surgery: The Psychological Journey," complete with a personal note from the author.

I knew Ranesa had been diligently working on this, but had no idea how near completion it was!!!

I can't wait to be able to sit and devote time to reading this. Not sure where it's available yet as far as bookstores, but I'm sure you can get a copy from her.

She is an amazing woman and I'm so proud of her and so grateful to her for helping me and my friends on OUR journey.

Congrats, Ranesa!! YOU DA BOMB!!!!

She will be at DVR's next support group meeting. Maybe we can ask that she bring copies for sale! I bet she would sign them as well.

I got this a few weeks ago at Dr. roe's meeting. It is a good book! I am not a reader, but I was able to read right through it. Very helpful.
