It's like a ghost town here today

Good Gawd this board is slow today! 
I have checked in 3 times and nothing.  This week I was unable to find much time to get on OH.  Today has been the first chance I had. How is everyone doing?  
 I hope all you guys are enjoying your weekend.  It was a beautiful crisp day today. 
I will be having my surgery in 12 days!  I am in a state of disbelief that it is actually almost here.  I have a few details to wrap up...complete my advanced directive forms, get fasting blood-work Monday morning, get the rest of my vitamins, get clear liquid foods this weekend at the store, and pack my little bag for the hospital.  I think I'm all set to go! 

Sorry Jennifer, I am so busy packing getting ready for the big move.  It was nice outside today, I did manage to take a break and take a walk with Gabriella.

You are moving?  Does this mean you are separating? Good luck with packing.  That's a lot of work.  Remember, if you haven't needed it in 6 months, throw it out or donate it.  I love purging junk from my life.

Yes me and Gabby are moving in 4 weeks or maybe less, we have to see how quick they get things ready.  Going for the whole thing, divorce.  I have been throwing everything out and running to Goodwill and dropping things off.  Man, this feels good.  I am really excited but scared after to death.

Hey Jen!  It's SO dead on the weekends! lol  Today's weather was GREAT!  I opened up a lot of windows and the house even feels fresher!  My lab/chow has been shedding his coat for a second time this year so it's been extra doggy/hairy in the house.  I've vacuumed every day this past week!  Also planted the first of the fall flowers outside: mums and pansies.  I am SO ready for Halloween!  Tomorrow is a Ravens home game so we've been getting everything ready for tailgating for tomorrow.  Weather should be great again!  Hopefully I won't get sun poisoning like last game.  Wow, surgery in 12 days!  It'll be 2 days before you know it!  WOOHOO!  Since you'll be there a couple days you might want to bring your own pillow with you.  It's also good to have for the ride home! TTYL!

Tailgating at the Ravens game...fun!  I love Fall too, and Halloween and the foliage, cooler temps.  Most of all, no gross HUMIDITY!  Wear your sunscreen, woman!

Maybe the board is slow because we're all out exercising.   It's a good thought. 
My surgery is in 8 days.  I'm with you about getting everything I need regarding clear liquid foods.  I do have my vitamins.  I've got a telephone appointment Monday with a nurse to go over all my meds etc.  She works with the anathesiologists.  Then I need to be at the hospital next Monday, the 29th, at 8:00.  Let's hope this coming week goes fast.

8 days for you!  That's so exciting!  Good luck!  I'm ok if the week doesn't go fast.  I need time to relax and stop those butterflies in my soon to be smaller stomach.  (Maybe it knows what's coming for it, LOL!)

Hey there Jackie, you and I are having surgery the same day.  I'm at St. Agnes and I have to be there at 8:30.  I'm so excited.  Only thing left I have is do my chest xray and get some food together in the house that I can eat when I get home.  But i thought I'd wait till next weekend to do that.

Keep me posted how you do.  And you too Jen.  We can be each other's cheerleaders.
