3 THINGS FOR FRIDAY!

TGIF everyone!!

That'll be my first:

1.  It's Friday!!  Woo-hoo!!  I love that we have casual Fridays - no thinking involved!!!  LOL!!!

2.  I got to spend time and catch up with my high school bff last night over pumpkin flavored coffee.  No matter how long it's been, we always seem to pick up where we left off.  Good, true, loyal friends don't come quickly OR easily.

3.  Music - A sweet friend of mine has offered to burn a CD for me of all of my fave songs.  The CD will help me get through rush hour traffic, AND will provide a reminder of him!  Not that I need one!

Hope everyone has a great weekend!

Hugs,

Tia

Tia, I can so relate to the bff thing and picking up where you left off.   I met my best friend at 23 and here we are at 58 and counting and still thinking with one mind it seems!!!   I know that no matter what she will not judge me and will support me always.  I don't have many 'friends' .. tho many acquaintances .. but those I consider friends I would trust with my life and hope they would do the same with me.

Let's see ...

1) it's Friday and I think it's PAYDAY !!!  or at least my checking account HOPES it's payday .. lmao and my creditors.

2) Only another few days until our long awaited trip to Tybee Island GA to meet a group of RV friends.   We have been planning this for so long and I can't believe it's finally here.   I designed a tee shirt graphic and bought the shirts for everyone and shipped it all to my g/f in GA who actually put the design on the shirts.   I can't wait to see how they came out!!!   We will need to be getting a group photo with everyone in their shirt.   This same g/f also used the graphic to do a tote bag for each rig.    She says my bag is 'special' and won't show me any pictures because she wants it to be a surprise!   I'm going to fuss at her, but I know next Thursday I will see it for myself!!!

3) Plans for tomorrow to take the Mack to the Fire Museum of MD in Lutherville.   In itself that is not anything special, but the idea that I can do that to me is such a HUGE thing to me.   I marvel at my ability to scramble up and down / in and out of the fire truck.   I don't have a whole lot of upper body strength (I never have) so there would be NO way to hoist another 100 plus pounds up into the truck!!!

ok, off to another day here!   Think I'll go see if there are paychecks and confirm that today is indeed FRIPAY.

Hugs, Mo

Comparison is the thief of joy!

If we spend our time comparing our life/weight loss/body to others, we totally miss what WE have accomplished.   Keep in mind how far you have come and what you can do now that you couldn't do weeks/months/years ago.   I hate the expression " It's all good", but in this case it fits!   Wherever you are in your journey  ... It's ALL good!!!

Hi sweet Moie!!!

Isn't it wonderful when you have friends like that in your life?  Some who have been around a long time and others, like you and me, who just seem to click from the beginning.  I'm so blessed to have you in my life - I know you have my back and you know I have yours!!! Thank you for loving me despite my imperfections!!!

Not sure we're gonna make it to the Fire Museum - but if I don't see you, have a blast!!!  I know it's a long drive for you guys, but The Avenue at White Marsh has an annual Christmas parade.  I'd love to see you, Mr. Mo & Mack in it!!!  And I know two kids who'd LOVE to ride with you!!!!!

So is this the trip where you come back with Princess wine????

Have a great weekend!!!!

Love you,

Tia

There may not be wine for the Princess on this trip.   It will depend on IF we have time to stop on the 22nd on our way home.   If no wine this trip, there will be wine when we return on October 13th from the next trip!!!

Actually, I think I have a couple (or more) bottles of your wine in the 'wine cellar', so no matter what you will get yours!

Hugs, Mo

Well lets see..

1. Of course its Friday!! I actually have off from my parttime job this weekend so that fact that it is Friday totally rocks!! lol

2. That my surgery date is now a week earlier. I honestly cant get over this and I am so excited to look at my ticker and see *24 days till my RNY* it is so exciting and such a REALITY!!

3. For my little girl. God I just love her to pieces and she makes me so happy. She has the FUNNIEST personality in the world. I dont think she could be more of a perfect blend of Andre and Myself (and so far it seems she got our good qualities...lol)

Hi April -

Glad you get a break this weekend!!!  I'm sure Jordan will be happy to have Mommy home.  Imagine Jordan's surprise when Mommy can get up and down on the floor easily to play with her - and now, you'll be able to catch her when she does something bad!!!  LOL!!!

Enjoy your weekend!

Hugs,

Tia

hey tia, thanks for checking in on me last night. i'm actually feeling great. right after the surgery was really sore but so far so good. i actually was extremely active yesterday. i started the process of cleaning my car, which is extremely dirty from eating and spilling food in it. then i got my little sister and we got something to eat, went shopping at walmart and went to the new edgewood starbucks. they have free everything from 6-8 yesterday. it was awesome. she went with me to my chiropractic appt and my acupuncture appt and i think it was a real treat for her. she confessed that she has been diagnosed w/ a mental illness but her mom stopped taking her right before she would have been prescribed medication. so i told her that she is going to call and make an appt and i'll go with her. her mom doesn't need to know. what i'm greatful for:

1. I bought stretchy pants in a size 12/14. i know that i coudln't fit into anything else that size, it still was awesome.

2. that my eating is under control. even when i do indulge now, i don't feel out of control. hope this lasts for awhile.

3. my energy level is great. i am actually doing lots of stuff and wanting to do it.

You are QUITE welcome, Nic!!!  I'm just glad everything went well; keep me posted, though!!

Your sister's a lucky girl to have you!!  I hope she gets the help she needs; no one should have to go through that alone.

You know, you're really good at beating yourself up, as are most of us, but you inspire me every day.  You really do!  You continue, time and again, to pick yourself up and move on.  That's what winning a battle's about - perservering.  You know I'm there for you, too!

And as for those 12/14's - who CARES what they're made of, RUN with it!!!!!!!  LOL!!!

Hugs and have a great weekend,

Tia
