1.  For having a work issued laptop so I can work from home on the mornings I just don't feel like getting up!

2.  For actually having my umbrella in the car for a change!!HAHA

3.  For my husband cooking. I took the youngest to soccer practice and he went home to cook (breakfast) dinner.  I was really looking forward to that bacon and eggs, but when I got there, he mixed it all together with potatoes, salsa and cheese...it was NOT what I had in mind.  Yuck!!  But, I am still grateful that he tried....he usually gets it right more than he gets it WAY wrong!!HAHA

Hey Marnie!!!

Trust me, after wls, salsa may become one of your best friends!  It is mine - it's a great lubricant for chicken, etc.!!!  And yes, even eggs!!

As far as the Greek yogurt, more stores are starting to carry it, you'll find a couple different brands, the Chobani I mentioned, Fage, Oikos, and Trader Joe's even has their own brand.  There's nothing spectacular about its taste - it tastes like plain yogurt.  But because of the way it's processed, it's MUCH thicker and has MUCH more protein than regular yogurt.  It also comes in a 2% fat, 0% fat and full-on fat!!  I personally use the 0%.  Unsweetened, like I said, tastes just like plain yogurt/sour cream, and you can use it as such.  I sweeten mine with Splenda and add berries every a.m. for breakfast.

I LOVE this stuff!  And trust me, since it's pricier than the regular stuff, you can't go wrong at 10 for $10!!

Enjoy!

I am grateful....

1.  That I have such an awesome little boy who loves me unconditionally.  He is my world.

2.  That I am finally taking all the steps needed to have my WLS.

3.  That I have such a huge support system and wonderful people I can turn to when I have questions, need advice, or just to talk.  I'm so glad that I accidentally found this website the other day.

Morning!!!

Although the journey to having WLS isn't always easy, and immediately after, you may question what you've done (which is normal), trust me when I tell you that this surgery is the best gift you could give yourself and your little boy!!

We're glad you found us, too!  Thanks for joining in!

Hugs,

Tia

Today, I'm grateful for:

1.) Grateful for my physical therapy!  Although they kicked my butt last night.  I am getting there.

2.) My little sunshine, was smiling about going to school today.  Now if I can break her from her thumb all would be good.  We are still taking antibiotics.

3.) Oh Flavor RX at Giant Food!

4.) Tomorrow is my big day! one year since surgery! WOW

I assume you've tried vinegar and such to get her to stop sucking her thumb?  My ex-MIL put it on my ex's thumb while he was sleeping every night and apparently, it worked.

Personally, I would've tried the pillow over his face, but that's another story.
