i think we've all felt that way. i gained most of my weight in <5 years! :-( don't beat yourself up though... you're taking steps to make it better again!!

My insurance (good old BCBS) requires the six months supervised diet also. I am 2 months out so far. I believe that there is no way to get out of the 6 months unless you opt for self pay.
