3 THINGS FOR MONDAY!!!
Hi Kim,
My sympathies with the kidney stone. I had lithotripsy 3 times in the space of a year .. twice on the right kidney and once on the left but hopefully the little (or is that big ?) buggers are gone.
Unfortunately, the kidney stones can be a by-product of WLS. I've got orders written to have a 24 hr urine test to see if they can determine the cause(s) but in the mean time I drink LOTS of lemon because the lemon helps the calcium not solidify into stones.

Comparison is the thief of joy!
If we spend our time comparing our life/weight loss/body to others, we totally miss what WE have accomplished. Keep in mind how far you have come and what you can do now that you couldn't do weeks/months/years ago. I hate the expression " It's all good", but in this case it fits! Wherever you are in your journey ... It's ALL good!!!
I hope they can get you in this week! I've never been able to get in tht quickly, but I tend to have flare ups at very inconvenient times .. like right before I am leaving on vacation!!!

Comparison is the thief of joy!

I wa supposed to be at the game yesterday but my nephews went in my place. Our scheduled bike ride in Gettyburg was reshceduled for Saynday. So, on the way home from the ride we listened to the game. When flacco ran in that touchdown IWAS FREAKING OUT!. My neighbor told the stadium was going NUTS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

LOL!!!! I knew you'd be freaking out!!!! Heather and Floyd were at the game and she sent me a pic of the stadium - a pure wave of purple!!!

Ummmm..........E? I gotta ask.....what exactly IS Saynday? Yet another Jewish holiday???? LOL!!!

So many things this Monday, the first is mixed: I am thankful for a great job - I am swamped and love what I do. I hate that I have so little time to keep up with the boards, but I am so thankful for a career that allows me to be a single mom and take care of my kids needs.
I am thankful that I got a call for an interview at 9am tomorrow for a promotion - for those that pray...please do! :)
And I am thankful for a renewed spirit to eating back on plan. I have been exercising like crazy, but in turn, pushing the limits on my eating. And I have not lost anything. I know what I have to do, and today have a new fresh feeling of "I can do this" with the food AND exercise and drop this weight. Again - for those that pray...please do! :)

1. I am thankful that the weather over the weekend wasn't as nasty as they were predicting, that means less work in the yard!!haha
2. I'm thankful for having my consult date FINALLY set up with my surgeon..it's been a long time coming!
3. I'm thankful for having this board and the wonderful group of people on it..I know I'm going to have a great support system on here!!
