3 THINGS FOR MONDAY!!!

Morning everyone!!  Hope everyone had a great weekend!!  And stayed dry!!

Today, I'm grateful for:

1.  Although I'm not a big football fan (probably because I don't really understand everything), that today, Joe Flacco can thumb his nose at his naysayers.  Everyone thought he was going to get tromped yesterday - but he showed them!!!  Clearly, not ALL men from Delaware move slowly!!!  LOL!!!

2.  Carnivals - Yesterday, I took KB to a community carnival.  We had such a good time, and I was amazed that after 6 hours on my feet, walking on unlevel ground, I could still move!!!  Pre-op, I went to this same carnival and could hardly walk around for fear of turning an ankle or just from being exhausted.  Oh, yeah, and cotton candy, too!!!!  LOL!!!

3.  That beginning in October, there are something like FIVE State holidays!!!  Woo-hoo!!  Sometimes, it's good to be an underpaid State employee!!!!

Now for some sadness:

As Kelly posted, Heather Modell's Dad passed away this weekend.  The poor man suffered and fought for a very long time.  I know his family will desperately miss him, but are thankful he's at peace and no longer in pain.  So please keep the Modell family in your prayers.  Hugs to you and your family, Heather.

1) a fairly quiet and uneventful weekend ...

2) That the storm did not really materialize in the fashion that was predicted

3) an enjoyable evening out with friends Saturday ..

Hugs, Mo

Comparison is the thief of joy!

If we spend our time comparing our life/weight loss/body to others, we totally miss what WE have accomplished.   Keep in mind how far you have come and what you can do now that you couldn't do weeks/months/years ago.   I hate the expression " It's all good", but in this case it fits!   Wherever you are in your journey  ... It's ALL good!!!

Moie -

As of right now, they're calling for rain on Saturday.  If it does, will that cancel Mack's appearance?

If not, I think we're bringing KB to at least see Mack (cause I don't wanna pay to get into the museum again), and then we're going to the Amish Market for lunch.

Hugs,

T

According to what I am looking at on the CAFAA website all events will take place on Saturday regardless of the weather!   I may check into that more closely in the next few days.    I just called the Fire Museum to ask about the 'broken' link that when I click for more info it takes me to the flyer for the June 14 bull roast .. OOOPS!

Hopefully, they are sending me out the correct registration form for Mack.

Hugs, Mo

Today, I'm grateful for:

1.) My little girl is feeling better, no fever since Saturday night.  We go to peds this morning and then I am taking her to school.  I just pray this ugliness never comes back.  I am not hopeful that she will EVER go back to another hospital. Poor baby!

2.) Me and Gabby had a blast yesterday at Chesapeake Beach water park, what a blast.  My little Gabriella really needed that stress relief.

3.) My family and friend support has been just over whelming and I love it!

4.) Even though it is Monday, I am ready for a normal week, as normal as if can get.

Today I'm grateful for:

1)  That my stall is over (hopefully) and the scale has moved down a pound...lol

2)  That no bones are broken.  Of with 3 kids in my house, there is always something on the stairs.  Well this morning, I came tumbling down them.  Was not a happy camper!!!!!  My kids came running and was like "Mommie are u ok".  My response "Please don't talk to me right now, and get everything off these stairs, THIS INSTANCE!!!!!"  Things could have been way worse, but for right now, left ankle and hip is hurting me and I also hurt both my arms.

3)  The summer is almost over!!!

Have a great week yall!

Hey T!!!

Yes, it's temporary......that's why they call it a STALL!!!!!!!!!!!  Trust me, we ALL feel like we're going to be the one for whom wls DOESN'T work.  Not gonna happen!!!

As far as the kids' junk all over the place - play my fave game, "Laundry Basket Stuff!"  That's where I hand each one an empty basket and make them pick up ALL of their stuff from any common areas.  They then have to empty the baskets into their bedrooms and return the baskets to me.  They hate it, and it doesn't help the condition of their bedrooms, but hey, you can ALWAYS close the doors!!!  Sorry you got hurt, though!! :(

I, too, will be happy to see the fall!!! Crisp, cool air and the scent of woodsmoke - what more could you want?!!!

Hugs,

T

hi all, hope things are going well with you. i am going to be having a procedure done on wednesday called the leep procedure. it's to burn off some abnormal cells in my happy place and take a biopsy to make sure it isn't cancer. so i will be out of work for two days. that's always a plus! here are my three things.

1. after throwing up on saturday cuz i ate something i shouldn't, something clicked and since then i've been eating better and lost two lbs just over the weekend.

2. that my period is coming to an end and my agitation and depression that comes before it seems to be leaving finally. i'm gonna talk to my gyn bout that.

3. my hair is starting to grow in places it never has. i just started using over the counter rogaine for women but i think it s the biotin finally kicking in. the hair in the corners of my forehead is growing that receded a long time ago. so keep ur fingers crossed.
