Oh I am so sad to hear this. My oldest was a twin, and we lost her sister. It is such an emotional journey to be celebrating life, and mourning death at the same time. I can't imagine all that compiled with trying to deal with the NICU.
I worked in L & D for about 5-6 years, so if she needs anything that I can help with please let her know to feel free to PM me.

My thoughts and prayers go to Wanda and her family at this time. It is truly a stressful, scary time. With prayers and good care, things will hopefully improve. My twin nephews were 1 lb. 14 oz. and 2 lb. 10oz. at birth, 3 months early. My brother and sister-in-law were quite overwhelmed by the experience. They did not have the additional grief that Wanda has. It will be a long haul, but hopefully with time, the babies will grow and develop just fine.

My nephews turn 13 this month. They are tall, lanky handsome guys. You would not know to look at them how difficult their start was. There is every reason to hope.
