REALLY?  Wow!  I'm glad they didn't go with him because I don't think he would have blended well with the cast.  Cool trivia to know though!  My old boss used to get stopped in the airport because he was a ringer look alike for Gene Hackman!

You are good!  I read that Robert Reed had been up for three other parts and the BB was the one he liked the least.  They said he had many arguments over the years with directors, etc. and was not even in the last episode.

Most of his issues resulted from his homosexual lifestyle. I was devastated to learn he was
gay!

He certainly was a cutie with his curley hair.  I was sad to see it end along with so many other sitcoms along the way.  I try to watch them all and will record if there are two on at the same time. Is Robert Reed still living, not sure.
