My thoughts and prayers are with Heather and her family. It is never easy losing someone we love so much.  I am glad her family all made it to see thier dad. It will give them comfort once their loved one is gone.

Hey Kell, I've been out of town the past two days since my Mom's been in the hospital; Heather knows details.  Tia called me and filled me in on the latest about Mr. Don from this post this morning, and I've been in touch with Heather the past few weeks via email and phone.  This is such a turn, we thought he'd be okay for a few months, but this is just heart wrenching.  Thank God Kendra made it.  I texted Heather earlier today and we'll continue our prayers and support for the Modell family.  Thanks for the update.

She told me about your Mom and hope all is well with her. I spoke with heather a little while ago and there just there by his side spending time with him. They had given him (and I am totally going to spell this wrong) barbital to keep him free from pain. Thank you for the prayers and support,

PLease tell Heather that she and the family and in mine and Mike's prayers. I am so sad to hear this about a dad as I am a Daddy Girl and I could not imagine.

Please let Heather know that my heart goes out to her,  Dad & family.  I will pray for Mr. Don to not suffer. This is such a difficult stage to go through. It is not easy and so painful to watch a parent go through this.
This is a difficult month for me too it is my Mom's anniversary of her passing and this surely hits very close to home.
