Quick update (my daughter)
My little Gabriella was admitted to the hospital today. She has had nonstop fever since Monday. They are still not sure what is causing the fevers, well they do know it is either Bladder or Kidney. They are still running some test. She is going to be there for a couple of days. They are giving some IV antibiotics. She is not a happy little girl.
Thank you for all your calls, txts and e-mails.
I am hoping we will know more tomorrow. Please continue to keep my little Gabby in your thoughts and prayers. I am hanging in there and staying as strong as I can for her.
Hugs Kristen

hang in there kristen. my daughter's infections always started as UTIs, but would reflux to the kidney. i'm not a doctor, but i can tell you that the two times that her fever reached high numbers and stayed there, it was her kidney. however, being in the hospital with those IV antibiotics is exactly what she needs and as much as i hated having her in the hospital, i was greatful to have all those doctors and nurses around vs being at home and worrying that something greater was wrong and was going untreated. of course, you know all this. call if you need to hear from a mom that knows exactly how you're feeling.
