GOOD THURSDAY MORNING MARYLAND
Today I am grateful for;
!. Spent time at the bowling lanes last night and hung around after the meeting
and bowled a couple games with a friend - she beat the s**t out of me but
it was fun. LOL
2. Saw a lot of people who did double takes and some even walked right by me
without recognizing me LOL It was such fun to see their faces when they realized
it was me. I don't see a lot of difference in the last 3 months but apparently
other people do.

3. Vacation is now 10 days away: I so wish you were all going on the Cruise
to lose cruise but I'm gonna post everyday. Cann't go thru 1 week without
reading and posting to the board.

Congratulations Darla on surprising folks with the new you. That is very fun! I always get a shot of enthusiasm and determination when I have those experiences. This Labor Day, will be doing my annual volunteer activities. I have been doing this for more than 10-15 years. Since I only see many of the people involved once a year, it will be fun to see if they recognize me as well. I am looking forward to it!
Today is a systems implementation day at work. So I am up and in the office extra early. Keep your fingers crossed for me that all goes smoothly!
1 - That I got up on time. I have been so sleep deprived lately that I have very good at ignoring the alarm. I almost did this morning, but caught myself and made it to the office in the nick of time. Today of all days, it was important to be here on time.
2 - That it is Thursday and the holiday weekend is right around the corner! I really need to take some me time this weekend!
3 - I feel like I am starting to get my stride back. I have been much more consistent with exercise and eating lately. There are still times when I am not 100% perfect, but I feel like I have been moving in the right direction again. This weekend will be a challenge. We will see how that goes.
1) Today is my Friday ... taking tomorrow off to get things ready to go away for the weekend
2) The upcoming long weekend with my sister and her family, though I am not sure how well it's going to work out camping if it is raining! Just praying their dog does not decide to dine on Mr Mo again .. as she has done in the past
3) That I am here to be grateful and look forward to things!

Comparison is the thief of joy!
If we spend our time comparing our life/weight loss/body to others, we totally miss what WE have accomplished. Keep in mind how far you have come and what you can do now that you couldn't do weeks/months/years ago. I hate the expression " It's all good", but in this case it fits! Wherever you are in your journey ... It's ALL good!!!
1. i am losing weight slowly but surely. i am not eating perfect but apparently exercising enough for weight to come off and that is all that matters. i am fine with the journey taking longer for me as long as i get to where i wanna be weight wise.
2. i have a four day weekend. I am really needing it. i need some me time to regroup and get my eating more on track.
3. did i mention i have a four day weekend?
