Wanna get together THIS Saturday 8/30?
Hey there! Anyone up for an impromptu get together THIS Saturday 8/30 at my house around 6pm? I'm in Rosedale (near White Marsh/Essex). I can provide beverages (water and sf products) and some wls friendly snacks and if anyone wants to bring anything else that's fine.

My brother called a couple hours ago and just told me he is coming down to visit Fri thru Sunday! He invited himself. lol I told him geesh thank goodness I didn't have any plans for the weekend or else you would have been SOL.
Then my daughter Jessie called me a little while ago and I told her my brother was coming from NY and she says oh I want to come with my boyfriend and my grand daughter for the weekend too. So I will have 5 over for the weekend. I don't know if I will get a chance to get online.
I am sure you will have a nice time. Tell Tia to have a glass of wine for me.

Sounds like a really fun time, but we are headed for Point Lookout State Park in Southern MD for a long weekend of camping! My sister and brother in law and nephew are going too . they are tenters . but we will spend our waking hours together. And oh, did I mention . they are bringing the dog from hell ???? Mr Mo has already announed that he will be needing to bring his work laptop and will probably spend his time holed up inside working ... I am praying that the RAIN I see in the forecast is not going to materialize!

Comparison is the thief of joy!
If we spend our time comparing our life/weight loss/body to others, we totally miss what WE have accomplished. Keep in mind how far you have come and what you can do now that you couldn't do weeks/months/years ago. I hate the expression " It's all good", but in this case it fits! Wherever you are in your journey ... It's ALL good!!!
Sorry I will not be able to make it we are leaving Friday to go camping at Hershey for the long weekend. We are actually going to go to the park, so it is going to be interesting to see how that goes over with the ride seats.
Last time I went to a park was Kings Dominion and I left one ride in tears because I did not fit. I am hoping and praying that does not happen this time. When it happened last time it was just me and Mike. This time it is going to be his whole family (mom,dad,cousins and their kids). Saying a prayer now that the seats are nice to me this trip.
I would love to join in next time.
