Wow, there are so many of them I fondly remember from the age when I truly became aware of music, it is hard to choose. But I am going to pick Brown Eyed Girl by Van Morrison for sentimental reasons. When my oldest nephew was young I used to play the Oldies a lot. Whenever this song came on, he used to change the words to "Brown Eyed Gerbil" after his pet. To this day, I cannot hear that song without thinking of that.
