Not sure I can wait until Saturday for meatballs!  Might make some tomorrow for dinner; like you said, homemade is the best!  You are of course welcome to come over Saturday night.  Heck, maybe I can rally some other OH peeps over too.  Lemme check to see if anything is going on and if not I'll post a general message for a get together.  As for the Yago, YOU DON'T DRINK IT!  It's too thick, remember?

I am first generation, Mom and Dad both born in Southern Italy, oh the good meals we had.  Miss them so much with them both gone.  I had seen this story once before and the sad but true part is that we don't see each other as much as we did when the parent were alive and cooking Sunday dinners.  I learned a lot of my mothers recipes and she was an awesome cook.  She was lucky enough to stay thin and I took after Dad's side and gained, and gained.  But I sure did love Sundays' when the sauce was in the pot and the bread was fresh just bought after Sunday mass at the bakery and you could and dip and have a meatball no matter what time of the day.  Oh those were the days.  Hope all are well and enjoying your memories from all the different ethinicities (not sure that is spelled correctly).  Have a great night.
