MONDAY EXERCISE
What a beautiful weekend we had. I'll take it year round. Don't need 90-plus degree temperatures and could care less if we have snow or not. I hope everybody had a chance to get out and enjoy themselves.
Well, this is the last week of August and, for some, the last unofficial week of summer. Some schools began today and the rest should begin in the next week or so. Be aware of kids darting in and out of cars while waiting for school busses. And try not to get stuck behind any busses on your way to work. You know what a pain that can be.
I hit the road early this morning, putting in a six mile run as I continue to ready myself for the October 5th 5K and October 11th half-marathon. For those of you that have been on top of your exercise all summer, keep up the good work. For those that have been slacking or are yet to begin a program, now that summer is winding down, this is a perfect time to start a new one to get yourself in shape for next summer. You can do this Maryland. You just have to make the committment and realize YOU ARE SO WORTH IT!!!

I felt good that I made it to the gym on Saturday. I have been finding too many excuses to skip my weekend workouts, and I feel more empowered after I work out. While I did not go the gym on Sunday, I did walk an entire Outlet Center in Lancaster. I was parked at on end and walked to the opposite end and back (with a few stops for shopping of course). I was tired at the end and almost took the complimentary trolley back, but I walked it instead.
Tonight I will be at the gym for my Pilates Reformer class and some cardio on the treadmill.

I plan to go to the gym after work. Today is Monday and that means it's a weight circuit day. So I'll walk 2 miles on the treadmill (warm-up/ cardio), complete the weight circuit, and walk 1.5 miles on the treadmill (cardio/ cool-down). Have a great day everyone!!! Peace and Blessings, -Antoinette
