In awe!

I am in awe of my doctor! I asked him a question I did not have an answer to and he answered me within hours! I was wondering, since I am on the border of my insurance approving me with my BMI without any comorbids, I am 41 and they say 40 and above, and 35 with 2 or more comorbids....so I asked him if and this is a huge if, and will not happen, but if I went below the BMI needed for insurance with the 6 months of WW, what happens and he responded

I am just amazed at a doctor who would answer you in a few hours and on a sunday to boot! WTG Dr. A!

You are talking to the choir here!!  I absolutely love the man, he is not only wonderful he is very skilled surgeon you will be in excellent hands!!

I am just in shock at how much attention he pays to his patients! I am 9 weeks into my 6 months....so I have a ways to go but I am 9 weeks further along then i was! thank you dear!

He's definitely one of the drs I want to meet with... do I start by attending an informational seminar? Guess I need to call his office and find out if that comes first or a consult comes first...glad to hear so many great things about him.

angie...dr. a.'s office asked me about the info seminar before I had my consult....but I had atttended one a month before that with another doctor and they accepted that as my info seminar.....

He sure is a gift in my lie and saved my life. I think Dr Averbach is the best and certainly a very skilled and caring surgeon.He must be pretty fabulous because both Hopkins and Un of Md. surgeons referred me to S Agnes when they said I was to high risk for them to do it. That tells me something. He takes it very seriously  and wants his patient too as well and so may be mistaken for very formal but he cares very much about his patients and does this to help people because he really cares.

I have only heard great things about Dr. A!! That is awesome he is so attentive to his patients. 

Today I was happy to hear the voice Dr. Von Rueden when called my house on a Sunday morning to find out how is Gino coming along. He is also an amazing caring doctor! 

You are in great hands Char!!!  

 We've discussed this before.  Andy is my true love.  He is just the best.  Can't wait to tell him that i want to run away with him and spend the rest of my life eating my small portions and looking awesome (when i get to that point).  LOL. Yes, he is beyond belief.
